Miller Design, Golf Course Architecture, founded in 1999 by Mark Miller, is a golf course architectural design firm specializing in golf course design for new and existing golf course projects. Our offices are located in Arvada, Colorado (home office) and Seattle, Washington.

Mark Miller, principal golf course architect, brings over eighteen years of design and field experience to the table. His career has taken him to countries throughout the Pacific Rim, Hawaiian Islands and the U.S. mainland, designing creative and challenging private, public and resort golf courses. By working in drastically different environments, Mark has also developed a knowledge base for turfgrass types, plant materials, soil types, water conservation, native environments, maintenance practices, climatic conditions and wildlife enhancement.

Developing long lasting associations is a primary goal for Miller Design. We believe every project is a team effort, involving multiple disciplines and skilled experts that are necessary to implement creative and successful projects. As a result of this philosophy, Miller Design has developed close associations with related firms such as landscape architects, civil engineers, agronomists, golf course superintendents, golf professionals, irrigation designers, and golf course contractors, calling upon them when their expertise is needed.

Meeting the client’s goals and expectations, developing cost effective solutions, practicing environmentally sound design principles, design for economics of construction, design for ease of maintenance and creating a comfortable and safe environment for golfers are primary goals, and the fundamental approach of Miller Design on every project.
